The War Memorial  is located on the seafront Falcomatà, in Reggio Calabria. Designed by Francesco Jerace, artist from Polistena, the monument was inaugurated in May 1930 in the presence of King Vittorio Emanuele III.
It consists of a rostral column, with at the top a bronze statue of the winged victory and bearing in his right hand a sword and in his left the palm of martyrdom. At the base, two bronze statues represent: an old "warrior Bruzio", holding in his arms a flashy shield, and an armed infantryman with a rifle and a hand grenade, placed over a cannon mouth.
