Chiesa di S. Maria della Cattolica dei Greci
Originally, the Catholic was nothing more than the ancient Greek rite Cathedral, introduced in Southern Calabria during the middle of the sixth century.
The typology of the religious building presents a latin cross plan with three naves, of which the central one ends with a semicircular apse. At the height of the transept there is a dome decorated with plasters and oval frames that enclose Saint’s portrayals.
